Serenity Amble 1st trips March 2012

Hello all this next year 2012 we have decided to start our charters in March mainly because now running a catamaran we can have more comfortable days at sea in the unpredictable spring weather we are also running a sweep from March to October with a £250.00 prize for the heaviest fish taken from the hard ground NO WRECK FISH we are asking a couple of tackle shops to add prizes so hopefully get a rod and reel etc .

Welcome to the forum Captain Cod :), look forward to the updates on the sweep it's a great idea. Did you happen to get the Cat from Sunderland

No bought it from Withernsea it had petrol outboards on..we installed 2 Lombardini diesels with legs we had a few trips last season weekends mainly this year we intend running weekday and weekends.

There was one sold from Sunderland with 2 x 150hp Evinrudes, i thought it might have been that one.
Best of luck with it Graeme, it's always good to see charters starting up :);)

It is the same hull a North Sea Cat very stable and loads of room we did'nt have 1 ill the times we were out not like the mono hull I had. The one at Sunderland was owned by Tony Hodgson it was Barbara Anne I think. Thirsty engines??

Well it makes it more interesting we had a club on last year who threw a tenner a man in for there sweep...the scales were nearly worn out every fish was weighed in but the end it was a draw it was a great day and brought a lot of laughs watching the lads shouting THIS IS THE ONE,,,,, GIMMEE THE MONEY......etc then to see 3 mackerel on the trace BRILLIANT>

Welcome to the nesa forum Graham, and good luck for the season ahead. how does the sweep work, is it out the profits, or does everyone chuck a pound in.
