Shads Rule 2

Gave it another go yesterday, weather was fantastic and fish were there again on more or less the same wrecks.
Once again all the fish were taken on shads, today we used an assortment of shads
and most took fish. (squid freezer box never got opened)
We ended up with around 24 cod to 9.5lb with the average size 5/6lb and quite a few
smaller ones returned.
What great sport with the shads, using Penn Trq 100 and MTI 15LB class rod, does anyone still use the pirk and three muppets ?????????????

davy think we have been using shads for 10 year plus now you used to get 6 in a pkt for £4 or less
the little 3 " ones always done the trick pleased your having some fishing before your called away again
next trip home you should be hammering them,
away over the west side this after noon (whitehaven) looking for a silver bar and a smoothound would be nice
enjoy the rest of your time here

Harry theres plenty of gear on the boat if you fancy a run out, you can see how the big lads catch fish Ho! Ho!
