Bert, Kenny & myself this morning, headed out about 8.30am, we tried the same place as saturday first and picked a few codlings up. It was a bit windy for drifting about so we headed up to the can & put the pick out, the fishing was pretty slow but we picked a couple of canny ones up

Bert with one about 7lb

On the way back in stopped at the usual spot again and picked a few more up including this cracker caught by Bert which weighed about 9lb on the dodgy scales in the cabin.

We ended up with 13 cod before meeting up with Sless the filleter ;) then retiring to the Beehive for a few beers :D

Another cracking morning which rounded off a cracking weekend - CHEERS BERT!! ;)

Nice one lads, well done.

seems to be still on the boil then , some really good looking fish there, if this keeps up it`s gonna be a record season.

Great pics lads and a fine report.

bait to take out on the boat

bait to take out on the boat

superb catch. :) :) :) What was the best baits used as i am going of Sunderland this sunday? Just wondering if it will be worth taking fresh peeler crab with me or to just stick to mussels, ragworm, squid, mackeral. because i have heard crab on the boats is scoring well with the bigger fish and is getting the best quantity of fish.

i kieth cracking report , someone selling crab in northumberland on ebay, has left tell number also,

cheers
