me and ian [wild321] went up to new england bay on the sunday before sharktag to get a bit of practice in before the weekend
met up with alain [willybendit] and his wife cracking bloke and good on the barbie aswell
weather was changeable but we managed to get out every day for a few hours , most of our fishing was done from the bay, and drifting down to the yellow bouy at ardwell and anchoring up there
had a good few days fishing with quite a few species we dont usually catch up in the north east
we met up with curly and pngwin nice meeting you lads again as the weather was not that good at port william and they were travelling over to ardwell to fish most days

had a trip up to east tarbett hoping for a decent pollock but just had the usual mackeral gurnard and dogfish but still a good day was had
well now friday after catching a few mackeral friday morning paddled down to ardwell were curly pngwin and a few of the lads that i had met at sands of luce the night before sorry but forgot your names
got anchored up and put my tope bait out and after a bit decided to chage theend tackle on the other rod ,with a set of daylights and the rod on my lap. get a run on the tope rod so didnt have time to tidy up just grabbed the rod and tope on
had a great fight with it then had the problem of trying to get it onboard with all the other stuff on my lap
after what seemed ages had it across my legs ,coudnt reach the t bar as it was now tangled in the daylights so just had to be b rave and use my fingers success then took a photo and off it went
had a great week met some new faces and some old
