headed to sharpley this afternoon, to meet up with Paul and Shaun i thought, turns out it was only Paul.So we have a tab and a coffee and heads onto the doxford lake, pauls into a fish within minutes but it snaps him off.Hard work this is today i thinks to myself after a couple of hours, during which time Paul has had 2 in the net.I got a chance to take a pic of his 2nd trout
Time for another coffee at the lodge and a tab.Ok i said lets try again so off we went, sorry we tried 2 other lakes without a fish then back to the doxford, this time i am gonna ger 1 i said to myself, within 15 mis here it comes a nice 3 1/2 lber
had no one to take a pic of me with it so i took the pic anyway as the fish was going home for the dogs tea.
20 mins later another decent fish, plays it to within 6 feet of my net and it starts tail walking and spits the hook.
getting harder now, anyway nee more fish for either of us.
think i only seen mine, pauls 2 and another 3 landed in all the time we were there, 1.30 pm til 8.30 pm.
Anyway Paul was the winner today, but i still got HF
Time to start trying some new fisheries i think
