Fished 2pm to 8.45pm in a biting East Wind & at times bright Sun. Hardly saw a fish rise all day & even late on there was no sign of any Fly activity. :(
Fished the big Lake most of the day on the dam Wall & had decent sport on Buzzers. Mate Glen remarked at one time that i was using 3 Flies, Dover Dave shouted over saying that i would be in trouble if 3 hit me at once, i said that i had never even had 2 on at once. Guess what, my line locked up & i had 2 buggers on at once.;) what a struggle, but, with a bit help, i got them both netted. Strange.
Had 6 before Tea & got back to the Lodge to find some thieving Gits had eaten Glens 3 Pork Pies that he had left in the fridge. Shocking. i hope the Buggers get food poisening.
Back out & slow so tried Lures & had another 2 before finishing. Did get one off the top just before leaving but the hook knot gave out & lost it. Useless bugger.

Jimmy had to leave early as some Scroat had done his Garage over but Kirky had about the same as me while Glen struggled all afternoon for 2 Fish.
One guy who fished Buzzers under an indicator did very well but not my cup of tea.
