wish i could unfortunatly ive got eighteen holes of pub golf to play, a pint in each pub. 20 of us going from sedgefield rugby club,hope theres not many par threes (down in three) throughout the day

sharpley today

fished sharpley today, started down sharpley waters had 2 on a cats whisker, very hard work and i believe the bottom lake has now been closed due to algae problems

moved up to sharpley springs, and the rain started ended up using black and green fritz and got 3 lost a couple and plenty of knocks and bangs, had a few knocks on a copper wire buzzer, loads of damsels coming off but nowt doing just thought i would let u know before 2morrow!

all the lakes at the springs are open The Doxford, noose, albert etc etc its only the old lake down the bottom that is now closed the one where they are building the golf course, still plenty of fish about but harder work than normal due to all the rain and the conditions changing every couple of days!
