Glen & I Fished from Noon till 8pm. Started out a lovely day with too little Wind for a change, but ended as forecast with heavy Rain.

Fishing was pretty dire with not a lot going on, filled my Fly Patch trying out different things. Even my trusty Lure didnt work.

Glen was on a 4 hour ticket & blanked. I managed one on Buzzers & another two on Drys. Also lost 3 & missed a few takes, so it wasnt all bad.
Gary who helps out there, knocked a few out on Emergers but in spite of a couple of lads using the same pattern, no one else had the same success.:thumbup:
The catch record book at the end of the day had best at 8 fish but most were bags fron one to 3.

The day before, Peter Appleby had 26 out some catching machine that guy.:thumbup: Maybe he put the fish off for the rest of us.
Might not be able to make it Friday as i have to wait for someone coming to fix my handsfree kit. Weather looks lousy mind.

Have you seen the Forecast Dean? Looks horrendous m8.
Have someone coming in the morning to do a job & then might have to pick up some new Specs later so looks out for me. Week-end looks good but i have company so buggered all ends up till probably Tuesday.

I was up there wed, fished 11am till 1 pm landed 8 best around 5lb missed and lost a good few fished that top corner were ya standing taking photos. Started off in the strong wind on black gold head buzz with red holo throat sz14 landed 3. As the wind eased fish came up black midge hatching 10 min on 10 min off. Fished sc black buzz, olive buzz kept changing as fly got swamped both size 16ns. Lost a biggy into backing bit tension off, hook straightened. Wish I'd seen ye. May be next time.
