A few flounders mate along with some niece plaice at the first gate fishing towards the groyne. Try feathers or floats for early Mackeral, Launce and coleys to spinners and small feathers under flat conditions. For the flatties(plaice etc) just go with any worm baits and leave it out a good 15-20 minutes as this is what i have been doing of Roker and almost every time you do this you bring in some niece plaice, you also get dabs and flounders.

See catch report for Friday, its been about the same since mid-April..3 more weeks for the mackerel in any numbers off shields, conditions not right yet.
