Shields Ferry Landing

Is anyone having much luck around south shields ferry landing, or is it the large ferry chugging away that is the problem, caught a few but fairly small Cod and whiting, fairly new so maybe patience will become a virtue to me.

Lad at work fished just up from there last week to use some bait up, he said he got alot of small whiting and some stamp size dab, i dont think he was putting big baits out for codling like.

I used to fish the lod ferry landin @ N /shields and 100 caves to0 exactr
and chipsd from the Sandpiper cafe were 5p. lot of snags iff u cast over 50 meters but get 2 the ju
ngle if it was ok with ya mam. someone must know
