After blanking two sessions in a row off the rock edges I decided to head down the old faithful around 5 o'clock for high tide to fish the ebb. The pier was fairly empty considering how nice the weather was. Got talking to fishingmark off here who's radio kept me awake, haha.

It was slow at first with only a couple of whitey the first two casts. Then had one codling at 41cm, followed by four more similar sizes. I left at low water which was 10:45.

All fish were taken on frozen blacks, for some reason they wouldn't touch the frozen crab.

Good to meet you mate, another face to a name. A canny night even if there weren't many fish. The only fish I got was on plain ragworm, the frozen blacks never got touched apart from that huge crab.
Back out today again.
