Shields pier 19/5/11

Fished shields pier with Barnacle Bill(!!!) today. Started slow then had two good coalies..One 41cm one 42!! had a few chucks with the feathers ended up with 14 mackies. Then a couple more good coalies, bait used was fresh crab Finally.....A decent day lol

about time you caught something
well done paul were the mackeral caught on the seaside or the harbour ,did you have to fish deep for them

I was on the pier near the end, fishing east seaward side from about 11 o'clock this morning fished till about 7.30 got 4 mackie. had a nice day sun shining as i left there were decent size coalies coming in two at a time on the end.

fished shields pier from 6pm til 8pm got 10 good size coallies on feathers only seen a handful of mackie then the coallies were hitting the sprats on the surface amazing to watch

I caught an 18" launce there the other day mate, well done on the catches and blanks lads lol.
