me and steve fished 6pm till 11pm lads where walking off saying nowt all day but still had to give it a try we fished a few of the marks on the pier l blanked my mate steve had a canny plaice just over the lb mark and 2 undersize cod that fog did'nt half come in gonna head back sunday to see if l can have any better luck

Good thread buddy, shame on the blank but at least you enjoyed the fishing and being oot.
Looks proper spooky that fog like, last time as seen it like that was when a fair few years ago. Got to the pier around 6am with my really cheap headlamp and couldnt see a thing, had to look at the ground most of the time tho pinpoint where a was going!

In the same club mate, me and mate fished it today and never got a sniff using crab and rag infact I never saw anyone pull owt up all day but at least I was out and still enjoyed the day, illustrious going out and all that.

fished the pier on a club match a couple of years back and the fog came right in just like pic shows. Its very eerie when all you can hear is the bell and the waves hitting the pier. Your mind plays tricks. I certainly wouldnt like to be in the bays at marsden or jackies beach or even worse the steehl.
