Fished 1hr on the pier today, it was packed out but nothing at all catching, i had 1 coalie on bait...must have been 20+ fishing.

Sea big rollers and as dark as you would find in mid December...not good news at all

Well done for catching the coalie, fishing seems to have been desperate today.

I went down to Frenchmans point to do some spinning at 7:00pm and the sea was massive and full of weed, it might fish well once it dies down.

10ft plus rollers hitting the pier, half the beach from being washed around the end of the pier, very sandy water..

Will need at least 3 days of flat seas before the fishing picks up from the shore i would say.

the swells are droping of right now it will be a good week of a slight little roll and possibly flat calm .

tuesday afternoon and early night could be promising
wednesday looks deffo for mackie
sun out / temp up/ calm water
seaham peir will fish for them as no fresh water around it like sunderland/tyne

fingers toes and everything else crossed lol

CALM WEATHER LOL

met office says 15-25mph ese winds for back end of teh wek, not much worse than that :(
Looks like i wont be testing the boat out until later on the following week.
