Well me and my mate were out again yesterday 4 more torture; we went to Roker pier but it was shut due to the railings being nackered or summit so we went to Shields pier again not a lot of fish or bites; i was using Fresh crab etc and never had nowt at all. After a few casts my mate reeled in a decent flounder and then a cast or so later reeled in a smaller one caught on ragworm,Loads of lad walked of and said there was nowt happening just small stuff we fished the rail end. well done Dave. here they are(flounders of yesterday);
We packed in just after 4pm or summit, i had a couple hours @ ratty before me mate picked is up only thing i caught there was a
BIG FAT COLD.
Next time i am out it will be light rods,simple traces:yes: scratching 4 what evers left in north sea/river wear or tyne. Roll on the summer.
