Shields pier, Sunday 13th.

Fished the pier from 9am til 8.30pm. Things started well as within two or three casts with the bait rod had 4 codling undersize. next cast resulted in an undersize codling and one of 1lb 4oz. a few bigger fish must have moved in with the decent swell that was running. There were plenty other fish, mainly dabs n small coalies, with the launce showing later in the day. Only seen two mackerel cort, they probably moved off due to the weather.

A guy came to me asking what fish he had just cort, turned out to be a lumpsucker, ugly looking thing but a fish no less!

A gud day had by most anglers, at least the weather stayed ok, (sort of!!!)

which side was that and i will be out on sunday for fathers day sa the lass is getting me a new flotration suit and some accessories for fishing great ehh and getting the old man maybe an f/s reel as he might want another one i dont know as he has a 14 ft and 12ft and he dont have 2 reels now and get one for myself lol yeah so if your out that day will see if roker is open and then if its closed due to waves then will head down to s/s pier for abit

Sort ov, sum stupid kid cort me line n pulled into a snag, first cast with it and was snagged, lost me gear... little b*****rd!!

Tell u wat though, casts like a dream.
