had a last minute sesh on the ss pier with beach boy. i brought my 'lite' stuff . went to the blocks. and had a few goes on jig heads spinners / plugs / and also used teaser sets with spinners and had no joy. switched over to the float rig and used isomes . no luck . 'pinched some sandeel and squid strips from beach boy to use on the float rig but still no joy , nice evening tho ...

unlucky with the fish mate but that's a cracking photo , sometimes its just being there that counts

I fished the blocks between 4 and 6 yesterday. Tried various lures and jellies. I only got one small pollock to the right of the blocks with a small dexter wedge. Nice evening to be out though.

Nice evening to be out. Shame the fish weren't about but having the seen loads of catch reports on here and in the lure fishing section the blocks have been so heavily fished the last two weeks I doubt there are any pollack left
