well where do i start on this catch report.got to shields pier today at 11 o clock met simon down there cos roker was shut nice to meet you mate.
simon fished till about 2 with only too small codling to show for all his efforts and a lot of lost gear .i stayed on with the hope of getting something decent how wrong was i.i should have left with simon .the sea was perfect, fishing the flood on a big tide with a decent swell coming in it looked like i was in for some fun but i wasnt
i dont think there are any fish left in the north sea.anyway i fished the small wall for an hour got nowt lost three rigs, fished the south east corner got one small tommy lost five rigs, then i moved down to just past the 44 mark first cast brought in a tommy smaller than the bait i cast out, lost another 4 rigs there, then i moved down to the rubble not much chance of loosing gear there
guess what i lost 4 more rigs
and got nowt
came home about five with a box full of nowt no fish and a bad head with the stress of it all .think ill stick to the river from now on.by the way one lad on the end had one about a pound and a half (git) na only kidding he was sound.i wont be on nesa for a while cos i need to make some rigs
anyone know wher to get free lead or free sinkers
got to smile or i will crack up
