Thinking of fishing Shields pier Friday night,can anyone tell me if it is safe parking
as i havent fished here before.

There's a car park at the end of the pier but i dont know if it gets lock at a certin time and you have to pay but its safe.

Never had a problem in the car park but you will need to park in the very first bays by the road (next to where the coaches park) as the main part of the car park gets locked at 10pm. Not sure what time they stop charging (think it is 8pm) but it is £2.40 flat fee all day.

its safe to park in the big car park next to pier but make sure you check closing times as lads have been known to get their cars locked.
