Definitely a better class of mackeral off Shields Pier, these days.....possibly due to all the chemicals seeping into the sea from the old Trow Quarry......lol
 
Hey up Stephen,

I put one back bigger than that on Blyth pier lastnight....

You should have seen the one that got away, it took 2 big runs to St Marys lighthouse and back befor snapping my 1000lb bs wire.

aye well ya nah i do like the big cod 30lb+ ;)

it\'s going to be exspensive....but it will be an experience not to be forgotton.
