well with forecast saying rain all day i was unsure wat to do but the rain seemed to ease , and decided why not, so headed of for the pier as i got there rain started getting heavier again, luckily as i have my brolly at the clubhouse picked it up as past decided to set up camp at seat past the first gate, no sooner as got one set of gear out, graham ( 2 rods ) turned up and opted to fish same place, so then set up my second rod and promptly cast out within a minute or so a got decnet bite turned ot to be a sizable coli which went back safely shortly l after a little flounder then nowt for a while and graham brought it tiny coli , went quiet for a whike then graham brughtg a cracking plaice 44 cntimtrs esdtim, ated weight bout 1.75lb +.. so that seemed to start a litt run of flounder and dabs bout 5 or 6 for graham with me only gettig a couple more littleones , so considering the weather it was not to bad of a day

oh by the way a guy just before the the gate also had 2 cracking floundr and heres a pic of 2 RODS plaice would of been a few more pics but camera decide to play up and for some reason not take any pics except for grahams plaice
