hey Nicky,iv used one alongside my century tt ld,, pound for pound theyre a cracking rod but go for the rd ,,rough ground version the stiffer tip is better than the ld/ long distance , and actually casts further I use an akios 656 and iv spent a lot more and got a lot less rod in the past,,i like the action on this rod ,, itl drag your tackle through weed beds,, its a very stiff tip ,but that's why its called a rough ground rod,,,,but it also helps lob them 6-7 oz leads out in an head on ,,, this rod is a big step up from your your usual hudred quid rod,,don't take anyones word for it ,,,get out on the front look for people using them ,,,they may be good enough to let you chuck a few leads about,
