Shimano tyrnos 20

I am thinking about purcasing a shimano tyrnos 20 but cant fidn one in the local tackle shops to check out so going of pic's on the net. Has anyone used one ebfore and what size are they compared to say a TLD20 reel?

They are alot of money so not willing to order one from the net with out seeing one in person or getting a feel of the size etc.

Very tempting, especially considering that they seem to have improved the somewhat dodgy bearings of the TLD

Yer it is the 2 speed thta i am after and i agree the TLD's great reels but the bearings crap...god job they are so cheap to purchase new ones.

I have got the Fin Nor marquesa two speed Richie and have never looked back, great bits of kit.
Are you off tomorrow Richie? I think I am going to head off after dropping the kids at school.

Yer i am off and heading out in the morning Graham. Depending on sea conditions and drift speed with the big tide i am unsure what direction or how far i am off yet.

Very little info on any of the web sites regarding a 2 speed reel for skating or big cod fishing in Norway. Tried the local and nothing even close to what i am looking for...been offered a Tiagra for £300 (worth £700) but abit big for what i am looking for.

Anyone know a local tackle dealer that stocks deep water fishing reels?? only one that seems to stock anything like that is spotty dog tackle but been already and they dont have what i am looking for.
