Well lads the date is now set sponsorship is now pledged £500 by the WCSA president glenn stocks ans paul kilpatrick skipper of charterboat sea-otter 2 plus matt and mel at the ship inn have also pledged £200 plus the food after the event, martin at whitby angling has kindly pledged the junior 1st prize the competition was well supported last year it can be won on last cast of the day heaviest fish matches gives everybody a fighting chance the prize money will be as follows.

1 Prize Per Angler (Except Heaviest Bag)
Heaviest Single Fish Match - 1st Place £500
2nd Place - £200, 3rd - £100, 4th - £75, 10th - £50, 15th - £50, Heaviest Bag - £100
All ticket money back in prizes after expenses.
Fishing Times : 11am to 5pm
Boundries are South Gare Redcar to South Landing Flamborough
Weigh-in back at the Ship Inn opposite Whitby Angling Supplies - 5.30pm to 6.30pm
Codling Only (except juniors in there catergory)
Hot food will be laid on at the weigh-in
Tickets : Whitby Angling Supplies, Keith Sports Saltburn, Bill Costins Scarborough
Tickets Prices : £10 and £3 for juniors
If juniors catch the big one they are eligible to win the main prizes a junior becomes a senior on his 17th birthday.
