This is posted else where but probably won\"t be read there.

How about a Friday night low water comp between Tynemouth pier (excluding the pier or any part of it) and the peeping Toms at Blyth (including the peeping Toms but excluding the jetty)

Give me some feed back on this quickly and we can get it sorted.

Jim.

north pier or south pier lol ,i can see everyone hogging the pipe off the beach as it seems to be the best pitch up there

Well 88 reads and only one person wanting to fish. That would tell anyone what they needed to know. Never mind maybe next year.

Jim.

West pier Bri its on the river side of said pier as Bigman says its the small out crop of rocks that appear at low water

Friday night is best for me Jim,how about meet up half way, maybe Seaton Sluice area.
Nice of you to try an organise it

:D :D so will I..but the sea may prove to be too rough, depends on how the wind direction goes, could find all of us on Blyth Pier !!!!! along with everyone else ..lol .lol.lol going to have a look at the sea later on this afternoon..will take a piccy of it and post it later on.

Was posting this in anticipation of some interested parties to get together possibly the 26th November to have a comp and possibly make some money for the R.N.L.I. as TC did last year.
Will keep it open till the weekend to see if anyone else is interested.

Jim.

I\'d be there Jim.

Was wondering which weekend you had been thinking of.

Just looked at the tide tables and the following look promising

29th October ~ 22.14 & 0.99M low water

12th November ~ 21.13 & 0.96M low water

26th November ~ 21.19 & 1.18M low water

Any date suits me though as long as it\'s not the 5/6th November

It is looking like the 26th November as the other dates are going to be a bit short notice by the time everyone decides whether to fish.
If anyone wants to bring someone with them I don\"t have a problem with that (more money for the RNLI). Will just be keeping it the same as Tony\"s comp last year.
I think the best place to meet would be the car park by the Rendezvous cafe on Whitley bay prom. It is a good central spot and about equal to Tynemouth and Blyth beach. If anyone has any ideas or thoughts on this please don\"t be afraid to put them forward as this is the first time I have arranged anything like this.
I would be greatful if anyone has any scales they could bring for the weigh in (hopefully we should get some decent fish lol).

Thanks Jim.

haha nice one jim pick me wedding anniversary ,oh well ,sorry to disapoint but she`ll just have to lump it lol ,never fished a comp before so ive no idea how it works ?
so how much per head entry
kick off time ?
end time for weigh in ?
what do i get when i weigh moby in ? (dreaming again)
will the weigh in be at the rendezvous(hey i speak french)point
anyone know what the tides are for that friday?21:19 low but that depends on the kick off time
ive noted the comp under anniv in the diary lol hope shes in a good mood :o

Couple of thoughts for the comp.

Date and meeting location are fine .....as you say Jim it\'s a good central location.

How a bout register from 7:00 to 7:30

Fishing, lines in from 8:00 to 11:00

Weigh in 11:30 to 11.45 or longer depending the amount of fish.

Entry fee £10 with 50% going to RNLI and the rest split between the top three places, say 30%, 15% then 5% of takings.

All, please feel free to slag this off, but at least it\'s a stariting point.
