I have had some great fishing over the last 4 weeks ,with groups of anglers coming over to fish with myself, Marty ,and Ed ,were my first guests this year and we had some great fishing both on Grimsey island and on the main land , we had loads of fish on lures and bait , most fish were around 5 to 9lb with a few fish over 10lb,just for a bit fun I made a six hook rig for Marty ,he had the baits in the water for 4mins and he was into fish.

He had 5 cod for over 25lb,, next cast with 6 hooks he had 4 cod and 1 wolf fish, Ed had some good fish he had 3 doubles in the week .we had well over 60 fish each day per person, well over 1800 kilo of fish on 3 rods ,many people may think that is impossible , but just ask the people that have fished with me how it is and iam sure they will tell you or better still come out next year and give it a go .

Thanks again Steve for an excellent week. It comes to something when you put the big rod down in favour of the light gear as your sick of winding in 5 lb cod, sometimes five at a time!! If anyone wants to know more just get in touch with me !

fantastic fishing lads it seems like another world to us catching that many fish in crystal clear water instead of a chocolate coloured sea and northerly swell them fish look very dark what type of ground are you fishing over. do the big fish come in juring the winter months
