Shore Float Fishing

What is the setup for float fishing from rocks or pier etc.

just like this mate, for the stop knot i use a 'slip knot' this way you can set it at different depths till you find the fish, to stop the knot coming out you can put a bit rubber band through it but i dont bother to be honest it only takes seconds to retie after catching.
