Anyone got any info on catching shore turbot? Caught a few on ledgered Sandeel at Torness beach this summer whilst after Bass and am intrigued....... want to catch them bigger than 1lb if that\'s possible. Where\'s the best marks?

I\'ve seen undersize Turbot caught at Upgang (Whitby). I don\'t think they are in sufficient numbers to target them specificaly on Yorkshire/Durham/Northumbrian coast but you may get the occasional one, especially if you improve your chances by fishing additional hooks and an additional rod(s).
Caught a tiny one of Sandsend Beach 3 years ago, and have heard of people fishing from boats close in on calm summers nights for them from the same beach.
