sidewinder sandeels

Out on Friday on the warlord have just bought a couple of packs of 6 inch sandeels just wondering if anybody use them and what they think of them.

They are great , the pollock love them and cod take them with abandon too ,I went through quite a few early season on the skeres , not losing them , the cod chewed them to bits and I had to replace them after about 8 fish each. I kept the weighted hooks out of them and use them in those cheapy hookless shads , bit of a struggle getting them in , but they catch fish once they are rigged.
