well myself and ian[kitty yak] decided on a trip to tourness
ian stopping at thornton loch the prefered site as it has direct access to the sea and myself stopping up the road at dunbar
arrived on the friday with foggy conditions got the caravan set up and got a call from ian that he was on his way out ,so got kitted up and drove down
to be met by about 3000 mitres of visibility in the fog
so phoned ian and he said he was into fish about half a mile out ???
as i wouldnt be able to find him got him to paddle back in them we both set off back out to the same mark were ian had allready had 4 decent cod
well this will make richi and the lads days
when i got there we didnt get a bite

when weto the shorethe waves looked big so was cautiouson the way in , landed and the waves were about 3/4inches fog playing tricks
sat arrived went back down to see ian and we both launched into a rough sea with some big rollers further out
like a trip on the big dipper at blackpool but we both got out trouble free
fishing was patchy with fish every drop for a few minuites then nothing then the same again ,
had a few codling and a pb cod for me 5lb then a new species off the yak a ling
