Just got back from butlins after 4 day break I took my fishing gear down which I was glad fished on Tuesday 11-00 til 16-00 hrs a place called chapel point which I was told about all sand bottom set up two rods one bateing up with small bates and one with medium bates far out , I met and group of old men who were fishing too they were locals and very nice chaps bates took was macki ,blacks , crab and rag after two hours not a thing then fish started to feed was flatly after a flaty which was fun getting them on blacks tipped with macki after an hour later had a small bass no bigger than a 1lb on the crab bate with was a first for me and then more flat fishes weather was lovely and hot and a bit later pulled in a small turbot and I mean small I think the best bate I got more fish on was blacks tipped with macki the crab did not a lot , cheers lads for your advice. Before I went down Skegness

Good to hear mate glad you got some fish. Hope the bairn enjoyed Butlins too, did he do any of the football on the astro turf?

Was good break , yes the boy played on the footy pitch he did the tournament games and loved it and the baths too with all the new slides only problem I had was the beds honest they are rock hard lol only payed £350 for 3 and food was in too it's a good place for kids loads to do any way get back to fishing the people who I fished next too told me to come back end of May for better fish so might just have to go back down and the people down there are so polite meaning older generation and I got there numbers if I go back down they said text them which was nice all in all it a lovely place to take your family's

Glad you enjoyed your break buddy,just keep an ear out,them big hounds won't be far away nowjust starting to show were I am now with the odd un been caught this last couple of weeks...

Fishings been outa this world of late buddycod,bass,ray's,doggie's,ytin,one or two pup's starting to show,me pal had 23 the other daysome good fish at that,up to around 8lb/9lb...
I'm dwn on the holderness coast bud,don't really venture that far nowaday's(due to work commitments)get the odd trip in to north yorks,but not often...Most of my fishing is done on the shallow sandy beaches of the holderness,but then again the fishing's been xcellent of late,so don't need to travel lol...

Stan it was great to chill down there I been bad again with my chrohns disease was bad in hospital again now ok had a course of steroids and other **** to take I think the fishing chilled me right out was class down there lovely weather been looking at your rods you been building all looking first class both my rods are still looking brand new cheers again
