Hi all was wondering if there was anything I could use to grease my bearings that in would have in my house i have a couple of hours spare and it it not moving to it's full potential any tips would be appreciated thanks lads

dont use grease for bearings use oil

What kind of oil could I use that I might have in the house cod seeker could I use baby oil?????

If you havnt got oil just use wd40 untill you can get your hands on something a bit better

Baby oil bet t would run smooth as , but you be better of using 3in1 oil.

Sorry for being a bit nieve lads buy what is 3-1 oil is that 2 stroke?????

Clean with a squirt of wd40 onto tissue paper and use some 3in1 oil it should get you going until you get some rocket fuel.

baby oil or sewing machine oil is good for the bearings with it being so light

for general fishing 3n1 oil is as good as out, some people use car engine oil, not outthe en gine

3in1 is just a multi purpose oil any oil will give the bearing protection but the only problem is if its not salt water resistant the oil will breakdown emulsfy go a pale white colour and the reel won't run right.
