slabs to first gate ssp 18/1 /13

was on the slabs only just as it was packed all the way to just after the first gate after that was unfishable 6 till 1030 ,
conditions looked perfect couldnt see the tynemouth peir for the snow canny swell running , me and steve got a flatty each on lug and rag tipped ,
while watching two canny cods pulled in.
I got a canny knock but didnt hook it as the rag had gone and the black had totally covered the point ,just after 8 the big fella at the hut pulled in a 5lb 6oz so i went and quized him but the bloody big fella wouldnt speak, so went over to his fish to have a look at his fish flapping on the floor and he stood in front of it like i was going to nick it and shoving me out the way felt like what a knob, couldnt get any info out of him apart its only 5 lb 6 oz like he was peed off it wernt a doubble figure, so i quized the lad next to him watching he said it looks like hes using lug so i sent steve over and all he got was "its in the car now " as the lads from the first gate left i said hes getting a 5 lb 6 over there they said "is that all" and reconned theres were a doubble landed just after 10 ? seen a fish come in but didnt bother going for a look after speaking to him everyone elessaid they blanked

the hut was shut the door didnt open so we didnt find out what was behind lol might have been a pig
