Small Ling

Well after the massive amounts of small ling 4-8lb kicking around this year and how quick they grow in the 1st few years and having to be around the 6lb mark before being able to bread i am hoping 1 of two things will happen.

1...THEY HAVE A CHANCE TO SPAWN AND NEXT FEW YEARS WE HAVE A BUMPER YEAR AGAIN

2....I GO TO THE GYM ABIT AS ALL THE 8LBERS SHOULD BE INTO DOUBLES NEXT SEASON

I love catching ling (shame some die) as it saves blanks some days and they a canny scrapper.

1 maybe 2 more weekends at sea for me then i will leave them alone to spawn

i like fishing for ling as when cod dont seem to be around, you always get ling at some time on the tide, there were not fished for years ago as people targeted cod, my pb are both 16lb same boat one after another on both drops using squid
