Headed down about 11 oclock for a couple hours was just expecting the usual whiting but didnt land 1. Had a small tommy first cast an hour or so later produced another of around a pound and a half. Things were slow so around three oclock me and me mate decided it was our last chuck.I loaded a two hook flapper with lug 5 decent worms on each hook to use it up. Was in the water for 10 mins and me rod started noddin. Struck into it and felt canny decent. Eventually got it to the surface were my mate had to hand ball it up th side hoyed it over th railings and th hook fell out so was very lucky.
