Smiths dock 25/11/11

Fished smiths doc tonight from 8.30pm till 12.30am with me two sons.
wind had died right off and not that cold.
Very poor night i blanked as did me youngest son eldest had one bite all night which resulted in this 2 1/2lb codling this was his only knock all night river is full of crab baits stripped every time they ere only out bout 10 mins as well
baits used frozen peeler fresh yellowtails frozen blacks squid and mackeral
we need a good easterly blow and hard frost to get rid of crab bit fresh water in river might help as well
still enjoyed the night out tho as weather tomorrow is crap

yeh thats my first blank of the year so cant cmplain be out again soon as we get a bit sea running just nice to get out as well mate
