Went down to Smiths Dock with a lad from work who has just started fishing after inheriting a rod and reel.
It was only his second time fishing so we got a couple of bags of lug and mackerel just to see how he got on and if he enjoyed it.
Anyway after two hours we ended up with 6 flatties and 3 whiting. None of any great size but all went back alive. Needless to say he wants to go again. It was a canny little trip out and well worth the effort.
