Have a look at the Greys Apollo Extreme.
If you get the chance, go to Hardy's at Alnwick & see there full range.

Hardy's/greys has a sale on tomorrow at Alnwick sports centre.

You might be lucky & pick one up a bit cheaper there.

me and all my fishig buddys go for the Greys Smock..

cracking.. light waterproof warm and easy to wash and cast in.

Worth paying the £70 or such for one.. or there si sometimes ones second hand on ebay.

Ive just got the new Titan waterproof smock, i havent used it yet as its a xmas prezzie  but it seems well made and its comfy, if the cotton version is anything to go by then its going to be great. they also have some special offers on at the min on their website so it may be worth a look.

daiwa costal smock

daiwa costal smock

this is the best jacket i have ever worn for my winter fishing
should pick one up for around 60quid

i had a titan smock for years, went to replace it and looked at a few different ones, the titan smocks are not the same as they used to be, the greys apollo was to thin for me, didnt want to wear a fleece under it, they are thin.
i ended up with a red and black team diawa smock, never let me down yet, never got wet, cold or felt the wind.
well build, thick, quilted, great zips and pockets, great hood and neoprene cuffs.
canny cheap as well :D

Got to agree about the titan smocks....The new ones don't look and feel as good. The older one I've had for years was great but it's seen better days now.
Some of the smocks on the go have to large a breast pocket, bend over too far and all yer stuff falls out anyfish anywhere and the Imax are like that. Also the hand pocket at the front is all one/no divide, pretty crap really.
I'll have a look at the Daiwa

have looked at the daiwa and the grays and like the pair ov them so think its going to b one ov them 2 just have to wait see how much money i get for crimbo thanks for the help every one

Dont touch the Anyfish one. Mine lasted about 4 months before the inside waterproof lining bubbled up and peeled off. Got an exchange for the Greys coat (much better).

I've had a Titan smock for about 10 years and it's still as reliable now as it was when I bought it. It's a shame to hear that the new ones don't seem to be as good. Hopefully the one I've got now will see me for a good few years yet though.

I've had the Grey's for a few years now and have worn it in a couple of proper downpours and it's never let me down at all. As said it is better to have something under it to keep you warm but it also means you can wear it in warmer weather without having a heart attack or getting heat stroke. I wouldn't like to wear my flotation suit when it was warm already   :D :D

Jim.

I have a Greys smock and it is mint, fished Hartlepool early hours Sat morning in some heavy rain, and kept me dry as a bone, (incidently got my first coddling of the season just under 3LB.) it is one of the best items I bought, looking to get the bottoms of Santa,... sent my note...LOL .
