Fished the night open at snab point with sidblank tonight. Both of us blanked. I lost one early on it got hung up on the way in after that nowt. Not even a nibble and it was the same story for sid. Every bait imaginable tried between us but it all came back untouched. amble open will be next for me I think.

Hard work tonight indeed on Blyth mate, never had a bite for over 3 hours, then managed 3 whiting & a codling for just over 6lb, but there were a few nice bags I saw in the 15-19lb bracket; think mr Shields had just shy of 20lb, so didn't bother hanging around; got to reorganise everything for tomorrow after my box & bait bucket got washed over before the match even started lol!

Heard there was a crackin sea on at blyth like mate. It was one of my options yesterday but we picked the wrong one.

I think one good bag came off Blyth, but very many of the lads I spoke to on the way back to the car seemed to struggle even to get a bite. As always, fish seem to have been very localised; you don't have to be far off to get very little.
