Size 1/0 or 2/0 will be well ample i use these ones 190660380092 never had one let me down yet, seen plenty of cheap ones give up on people

Any reason why as good quality 2/0 ones have a breaking strain of 120lb ?

I`ve had many a 2/0 come open on me at the wrong time ..........3/0 or even better 4/0 in my book ,I suppose it depends on the quality of the ones you buy , don`t buy cheap import ones from china ,go for the better quality ones ........try the american snap links

Now thats funny as the american snaps i would certainly not recomend as they do not interlock anywhere, the ones i recomended earlier and the ones Keith did all interlock to stop them comming open

But if you are using 3/0 and 4/0 i suppose the sheer size helps

I had one open last week, well I probably didn't close it  Anyway I was fishing a shad, the shad was obviously at the business end, when I reeled in my shad was hooked through the snap link and the 3-way swivel and sinker were dangling at the bottom. Bet I couldn't do that again, catch of the season so far :p:(.
