i have somehow snapped the tip of my salt flattie rod just after the 2nd top ring , can this be cut and an end eye fixed on ? how would this affect the rod im assuming the bite detection would be less sensitive , also does any one have any idea how much is would cost & where to take it in the ncle area . as they are only about 30 quid new this could be an excuse to buy a new rod ;) many thanks davey

i snapped the tip off my greys spinning rod last weekend.would have cost £25 plus p+p to replace damaged section,so instead took it to my local tackle shop who repaired it for £3 . as for performance it feels no different
