Some info on craster plz?

Hi lads was wanting some pointers on fishing up craster me and a mate are going up Saturday morning.never fished there before so would like to know what it's like for float fishing,what length hook line etc. and any certain spieces we may encounter?we will be fishing just beind the castle or is there any other spots we may wanna have a try?thanx in advance lads.

Ive heard you've got to park at the golf course nd walk over to the castle , I think its a gd spot for Pollock but I dont no much about the mark mate

if you park at craster theres loads of fishy marks you will pass on your way to the castle

First second gulleys heading through the gates on the way up to castle are good marks, fish the tide down and back up, watch the rocks as they are slippy. From my experiences the flatter the sea the better as its kelpy and the bigger the sea i say the more movement of kelp, its also rocky to so i fish 40lb straight through 1hook pulley rig, rotten bottom and no grippers on a 5 or 6 oz lead. You don't need a big cast at these marks too.
