After diner today my Grandson Justin asked when he was going to try his fly fishing out fit that i bought him a while back,
I made a phone call to South Lindon to ask if i could bring him up so i could give him some tuition on the fly lake , they said yes and said he could fish for £5 for four hours,
I told him to get his kit out, talk about excited:D
I put on a floating line for him but the fish were not showing so out with intermediate and one of my Damsel's, and believe me this was the best time i have ever had with him in eleven years, took some cracking pics of the day out,

As for the fish it was landed after about ten minutes but as i was going to take the pic of a lifetime he dropped it
It must have been exhaustion:)

Great John, start them young itll stop them going off the rails when they get older, my father used to drag me out when i was a kid to hawthorn hive when the snow lay on the ground at the time it was if i was being punished but after my first cod those winter nights all felt warmer. later in life when all my so called mates were getting into trouble i turned back to fishing and pleased i did

Spot on there Simon, He's a good lad stays with me every weekend since i lost my wife i would say my best friend:cool:
Lets hope he stays that way, i can see it costing me a small fortune with fishing fee's, but he's worth it.

John
