well, it was a mint day for mackeral fishing, i got there around 6.30am, and there was just me and 3 other people...my first cast, i didnt get a thing, and then on my 2nd cast i had a 4 macky hook up, and then after that they just kept on coming, i must of had at least 40 macky in total, but only kept 12, i gave a couple of fillets to the missus ma and da, and kept some for bait for when the whiting come, and kept some for meself to eat, it was a well mint day, i left around 11am, just as the tossers were coming ..

Nice one henda, glad you had a good day owt, its good to hear someone using a bit of restraint for a change and only taking what they need. What was the sea like? Still a bit of swell coming in?

yeah there was a bit of a swell, but that really wasnt stopping the mackerel at all, so get yourself down there when you can

Dicky bird telt me that you were heading up to Eyemouth the day? I went yesterday but it was too big, fished a golf course mark but only a couple of coalies to show for my troubles, like you i had a good day, not a breath of wind but the swell was huge, got some pics but no lead to get them on computer yet.

Canny umpire him, Changed our mind last night after waching dr.& the medics at the ampitheatre, just a quick look at the sea as we left and knew it was off. a couple of lads still went up for the ginger toms but had no news yet.
