Hello lads had a couple of trips out on days off. First on Wednesday 11th Oct 2011 went to South Shields pier with my mate Ian. He beat me 8-2. And he caught five different species.
First to me a Coalie from the side of the pier on my Bass rod.

Today 12/10/11 thought i,d try my luck on Seaham Hall beach. But first had a stop off for fish and chips from verrils on the headland at Hartlepool. Also got some crackin rag from Alan at the Friarage.

I that near blast mate? Fished there at beginning of summer. Am gonna hit it in winter ! Might give there a try... Well done on ya fish...
 
well done mick ian think this winter will be a purely belter lads .me and my son will be hammering roker pier this winter .hope shore fishing is as good as what boat season has been this year.:D
