South shields, and Seaham Hall beach.

Hello lads had a couple of trips out on days off. First on Wednesday 11th Oct 2011 went to South Shields pier with my mate Ian. He beat me 8-2. And he caught five different species.
First to me a Coalie from the side of the pier on my Bass rod.

Then Ian started the 5 species hit.
First his coalie.

then the Pollymog----or Scorpion fish.

Then the Ballon Wrasse.

Then this fella

And a whitey but no photo.
Today 12/10/11 thought i,d try my luck on Seaham Hall beach. But first had a stop off for fish and chips from verrils on the headland at Hartlepool. Also got some crackin rag from Alan at the Friarage.

well done mick ian think this winter will be a purely belter lads .me and my son will be hammering roker pier this winter .hope shore fishing is as good as what boat season has been this year.
