South Shields & District Sea Angling Club 63rd Annual Open Shore Competition.

Sunday 13th November

Fishing Times 11am-4pm

Registar at the local tackle shops in advance or on the day at the New Crown 8am - 10,30am.

Prize money
1st £600 Heaviest Round Fish

2nd £300 Heaviest Bag

Plus many supporting prizes.

As our club never has a main sponsor I would like to publicy thank all the individuals and companies who have donated a prize to our Open.

i am interested mate, its just that when ya self employed you cant just leave a job half done, gotta keep the customers happy or work could dry up, and in this economy i am glad am booked til back end of january

im entering it for the 2nd time,(didnt get anywhere last year)but had a gud laugh and drink at the weigh in lol,mate had only been fishing 3 times,before i threw him in the deep end

ps dont break yor flask at the start or its a long day to go without a cup of coffee

Optional Sweeps: 100% payout 1st, 2nd and 3rd
(Pairs: £2.00 per team) (Heaviest single Fish: £1.00)
(Superpool: Heaviest Bag: £2.00)

Competition Details
Fishing Times: 11:00AM to 4:00PM
Weigh-in New Crown Hotel from 4:00PM to 5:00PM
Registration at various tackle shops up until 4:00PM Saturday, or on the day from 9:00AM at the New Crown Hotel, South Shields.

BOUNDARIES
The area of he competition shall extend from the Groyne, South Shields to Roker Pier (excluding Roker Pier and its foundations). The South Pier (South Shields) is included bar the Round End, the foundations any part closed to the public are strictly OUT OF BOUNDS. In addition there are venues on the south bank of the river Tyne included, Church Bank, Hebburn Marina (excluding fenced off areas), River Police H.Q. Jarrow Riverside Park, Mill Dam and the Little Haven Riverside Park (Walkway). All other river marks upstream of the Groyne are OUT OF BOUNDS. Competitors are allowed to roam anywhere within the permitted boundaries.

Please note. The SS&DSAC shall not be held responsible for any angler crossing the safety barriers on the Cliff tops, all anglers should take care. FISH SAFE.

I think you'll find that the reelsport blue thunder is not up for grabs at the end of the presentation
