south shields pier 31/5/2011 great day

well headed down for 1.30pm pier was chocka with macky bashers never been out for 8 weeks so looking forward to it had a few cast for macky got about 20 but give them to a bloke next to me he was'nt having much luck then 4pm hit the round end crab on one rod and lug tipped off with rag on the other none stop sport coalies to 2lb and a few codling just on size alot under size but managed the odd cuppa in between it went on like that till l left at 11pm none stop so had a great days fishing gonna hit pier sunday
