South Shields pier 5/5/07

Well just about got blown off the pier towards the end of the day but it was worth it. After 3hrs fishing with redgills and daylights i ended up with three figures worth of colies and 1 sandeel.

Great fun pulling in 6 at a time for a mad 20mins on a light spinning rod. Noting of any great size, most around the 8-102 mark witht he odd colie about a 1lb-1lb 1/4.

Never tried any bait that day but lads using it had the odd small flatfish and colie.

was on the pier yesterday 7th blowing a wild west wind fished the 44 nowt plenty 6inch coalies and small flattties on the end
