South shields pier 9/2/13

went down at 4.30pm intending to fish low water at 9.15pm. However, after three hours without a single bite decided to pack it in and save my bait for somewhere else tomorrow.
tackle used pennel pulley rig with 2/0 hooks baited with lugworm/mackerel in various combinations.
Other few anglers were using squid and crab also to no avail.
Ho Hum better luck next time

Was down there myself from 12-5pm nowt, sea flat as a ****

Hard lines mate not a lot doing at the moment, it was hard going on Tynemouth pier yesterday a few fish caught, whities - coalies. I had 3 small codling and a flattie lets hope we get some big seas soon.
