fished last night another good night plenty of sport fish to a lb & 1/2 forgot the time agian left at 3am does'nt time fly when your enjoying yoursel
well good news for all anglers who like to fish pier the gateman had a meeting with there boss and decided to let anglers stay on pier when gate is close at your own risk port of tyne will not be liable for anyone on the pier when gates are closed this will be reviewed after two weeks as they have been told to report on the amount of rubish on pier if it continue then they will go back to kicking us off when gates close l know and so do you that its not us as most of the mess is mackrel rappers all over the place so lets hope some of them read this and clean there mess befor it gets to the stage were they stop fishing altogether as on tynemouth

Fished Shields quite alot over the last few weeks, the amount of litter is nowhere near the amount left on Roker, cant see why Shields would be a problem as it has plenty of rubbish bins along the full length of the pier?

They could collect the cans of fosters off the beach, weigh them in for scrap & then that would easilly cover a full time cleaner (joke).

Just hope the 2 weeks goes well, might be worth spreading the word
